The Challenge

PMP Homes was looking to make a visual statement by decorating a client’s custom-built home with multiple rooms having custom-designed floor inlays made from marble. The client supplied marble tiles were very cut-sensitive and presented their own challenge and the final product had to be detailed in design and able to withstand foot traffic.  As in many cases, quick turnaround time was expected.

 

The Solution

Worked with client to design an impactful design within the available space, while meeting the budget and turnaround time. Worked with the client’s artwork to ensure that layout and nesting into tiles are done in the most economical way possible to save the material cost. Provided installers with a detailed diagram of installation to address the challenge of ongoing foot traffic, the following solution was selected:
